Modelling Portfolios

A female photographer allows for help with creativity with hair and makeup, by helping you design your own look you are comfortable with. This then allows you to choose 20 images for YOUR portfolio to be presented to you in an A4 Zipped Portfolio. This is not just limited to people who want to pursue modelling as a career. It is a great gift for anyone, or why not just treat yourself!!!

What do you Charge for a Modelling Portfolio?

Modelling Portfolio’s are based upon a 2-hour session and this includes either two hours shoot in studio, location or a combination of both. This gives time for maximum effect for a range of studio shots, and outfit changes etc. Change in hair and makeup can and will also lead to a more thought out portfolio of images. Please see the Pricing section for full pricing information.

Do you charge a booking fee?

A booking fee is charged at 25% of the total, with the rest due on the day of the shoot or beforehand depending on how you are wanting to pay. The booking fee is refundable if the appointment is booked at least 7-days in advance. The booking fee is required to discourage “no-shows” and those who don't take their appointments and commitments seriously.

Why do I have to sign a release form?

There are three instances where release forms must be signed. In all cases, one must sign a form certifying they are no longer a minor. Our business is legitimate, and will only allow models 18 or over to pose. This protects both client and Photographer.

Do you require an Interview?

In order to validate the information, we call and discuss the photo shoot, requirements (makeup and outfit suggestions, proof of age), and limitations.

I'm not height/weight proportionate, can I still have my photo's taken?

Everyone has their own beauty, and it’s up to the model and Photographer to work together to give the best ability.

Do I need to have modelling experience?

Absolutely not. Though models often have a certain “feel” for posing, many newbie's take to a photo shoot like a fish to water.

Do you take pictures of men?

Yes we will provide photo shoots for all – regardless of gender, race or size. We have even taken classy photo shoots of couples.

I would like to pose nude, but can I be sure of your confidentiality?

Your privacy and confidentiality is paramount to us, we built our business on keeping clients information private and confidential. Your shoot is between you and the photographer. Most of our referral clients come to us because someone they know had a shoot with us and were happy with the results.

I want to provide my lover with a nude Portrait of me, Can this be done?

Our most popular photo shoot request is to create a photo as a gift for one’s lover. This can either be done in the studio or on location.

Will we be alone during the photo shoot?

We always recommend one friend or family member accompany you during the shoot, but it is not a requirement. This is for your comfort. If you are concerned about your personal safety, if a friend or family member is present your concerns may diminish. If you wish to have someone else present, please abide by the following conditions prior to our photo shoot:

  • We are advised in writing (email or via our website) that you are bringing a guest.
  • You provide us with your guest’s name.
  • Your guest will be asked to leave if they are disruptive or distracting to you or us.
  • Your guest is responsible for their safety and expenses.
  • Your guest's behaviour is your responsibility. If the photo shoot is cancelled due to disruptive behaviour, there will be no refunds, and a full photo shoot fee shall apply.

How long does a photo shoot last?

Typically, a photo shoot will last 2 Hours.

How many photos do you shoot?

I take as many photographs as I can within the 2-hour shoot, or as long as the person is willing to be photographed. Some poses may be the same, and eyes may be closed, so these photographs will not be presented to you for choice.

How long will it take to get my photographs?

Your DVD Slideshow will be with you within 10 working days. This means that the images are edited by batch processing and then presented onto a DVD Slideshow via the computer and special software. You cannot print from this disc.

We also quote up to 10 working days for Prints and Enlargements from date of order. This is due to them being outsourced for print to give you the best quality imagery. And Each image is edited from scratch for prints.
