Wedding Photography

Wedding Photography is our signature specialist subject here at Blue Lights Photography, planning your wedding photography can be a stressful time as naturally you will want to make sure you get the choice of photographer right to ensure you get your memories captured to the fullest potential. Adele has a lot of experience in this field, and all our customers have expressed that the whole experience with us exceeded their expectations.

Who will be photographing my wedding?

Adele Photographs all the Weddings.

Do you have photos of entire weddings that I can see?

Yes I do. I have photographed many Weddings and I do have photographs of entire weddings that you can see. If you would like to see more than what is available in the online galleries or on show at a wedding fayre you may have recently visited, then please do ask and these can be arranged for you to see.

Do you have references I can call?

I have several brides who I have photographed previously who would kindly speak with you if needs be. You can also read testimonials online or leave your own by clicking here.

Can I see a sample contract?

Of Course you can, please email your details over, and I can send you a contract for you to view. Alternatively please call to arrange an appointment to go through any bits of a contract with me.

How long do you stay during the wedding?

We have flexible options to suit your requirements. Whether you are wanting longer than offered, or shorter than normal. See the pricing section for details of our standard times. Our hours are just an idea of what you can have. If you are wanting something more specific then please just contact us for a specific quote.

How many pictures will you take?

As we shoot digital we are not limited to the amount of photographs we take. For a Full Day Ceremony we will take over 1000 photographs, depending on what is happening in attendance. You will be presented with at least 500 photographs of your day.

What if we don't want loads of stuffy group photographs?

You are completely in control of the kind of photography you would like for your day, some couples like a selection of group photos, other like us to capture just informal gatherings of guests enjoying the reception, and of course we can do a mixture of both. We can help you plan and guide you on how to avoid a long list of group photos.

Do you post the proofs online, or will I receive negatives?

The “proofs” will be received on a DVD set to music, as this is a nice little keepsake, and will have more photographs on it than the album you choose will. One or Two Images will be posted on the Blog, and Facebook Fan-Page, for a few people to see. If you would like the entire collection online then this can be arranged with a secure password protection for a small additional cost.

When will my proofs, prints, and wedding album be available?

We aim to send all out proof discs out within 2-weeks. If we are extremely busy with Weddings then we will inform you of any further lead-time however this has yet to happen where a bride has been let down.

Prints will be delivered within 10-working days from Order.

Albums on order take 4-6 Weeks from initial order to delivery.

Do you do your own printing?

I control the quality of all the files I produce for best colour and tone, with colour calibrated technology. I work closely with a professional print lab for high quality photographic results. By using a professional lab we ensure that the printed photos have the best chance of long term life without undue fading.

What professional insurance do you have?

I am professionally insured with both public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. 

How else can we enjoy our photos?

We can offer various options for reprints, enlargements and framing. A popular request is for a multi frame where we can arrange several photos in one frame to create a great art piece for you home. We can also arrange thank you cards for your guests along with parent albums and brag books.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes. This is to reserve the date. I ask for 25% of the monies to be paid as a booking fee. The rest of the monies is due 2-weeks before the wedding.

How many years have you been photographing weddings?

I have been photographing weddings for the last three years. I started out Photographing as a Second Shooter at plenty of Weddings and now as Blue Lights Photography I shoot on my own. I really enjoy photographing Weddings and meeting new people.

Can you make us a better quote?

The way I structure my fees makes it easy to divide up the total wedding photography expenditure. So Unfortunately I cannot make you a better quote.

Why aren't there any lesbian or gay weddings on display in your online portfolio?

Unfortunately, the reason that I don't have any in my portfolio is that I have so far not been contacted by any gay or lesbian couples enquiring about wedding photography. I would give any same-sex enquiry the same consideration as every other. I do not discriminate against sexual orientation, race or religion. I offer a friendly and personal service to all my clients.

What areas do you cover?

I will cover the entire UK. I cover within a 50-mile radius of Postcode S71 without any extra travel expenses. Anything more than this please contact me and I will be happy to quote you a price for everything you are wanting.

Do you accept last minute bookings?

Of course we do, if we’re available.  

Can we still plan our wedding coverage without meeting up with you?

Yes. I prefer to meet with you before your wedding date, but I do understand that it is not always possible given work and locations. In these circumstances, I am fine to discuss wedding photography over the phone or email.
